Figures
Representational Depictions
Reshef’s earliest body of work, these most representational depictions of her own reflection and children’s portraits, offer the stylistic emergence of the later abstraction. Using negative space and contour to create silhouettes of emptied figures, the background becomes what defines the subject matter, the center and the margins of the composition.

All works are diluted acrylic on canvas unless otherwise stated.
