In this art event, Rotem Reshef, a painter and installation artist based in New York and Tel Aviv, shared some of her methods of creative expression with multi-media materials, commenting on ecological shifts and seasonal changes, by composing fossil-like abstractions, alongside ghostly representations of human presence.

It's been just over a month since I moved to my new studio, and it already feels so good! There is plenty of natural light and it's so spacious, I can work on larger scroll paintings, and walk around them to gain perspective.

Another part of the discoveries of moving to the new studio, were some paintings I haven't seen in years.

It was like finding lost treasures!

I was happy to shoot this conversation video at my studio in Tel Aviv in which I spent 6 years of work and fun.


We finished shooting just days before I moved to my new studio around the corner from the previous location.
